In February of 2015, we sent a query letter to Alex Mahon who passed it on to Daniel Isaacs, a joint CEO for Kudos. It took roughly a year and a half to write. Although we thought the ending of season five was quite beautiful, we also saw many possibilities as to how the storyline could be further developed. Rather, it is a serious and finished script, in continuity with the characters as they were portrayed onscreen - but also taking inspiration from opinions expressed by the actors themselves. We are a team of writers who have written a complete script for a sixth and final season of BBC's Merlin, entitled “Merlin: Kingdom Come.” To be clear, this is not merely fanfiction or a spin-off.
